* KOMO has found another ugly story in its ongoing coverage of ugly stories
turned up as efforts continue to open up the Seattle Police Department’s video
archive. This one seems to show an SPD officer saying he would make up
evidence as a threat to two men being detained by police in a 2010 incident.
Slog talks to the man who has helped to increase access to the videos after
his own Capitol Hill run-in with police. His latest update is a site –
seattlepolicevideo.com — designed to help people look up what video might be
available in the SPD archives. CHS has started using the tool to look up
potential incident videos to request from the SPD’s public information
